Tonight and tomorrow our team will continue to make decisions about the most important work that we can do for and with our students, your children. In the words of an educational leader we deeply admire, Kylene Beers, “Tomorrow is not simply another day at school.” We will remain committed to nurturing our students’ minds, helping their hearts heal when there is so much conflict and confusion in their world, and to continuing to support them in knowing ways they can use their own hearts, minds and voices to express what they believe. We are with you in the darkest of nights and in the light of days to come.
