All systems now appear to be a go for in-person school today. We will look forward to having your children with us by 8:15a. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we awaited this news.
Power and alarm issues continue at school. We hope to be in person tomorrow. But w/o consistent power we can't have a fire safety system, food, or phone, and so cannot hold classes. It's likely we will not have info from Duke and Koorsen (emergency management) until early morning, and can then make a determination. Pls arrange now for childcare in case we are not in person. We will send a message to families by 7a regarding in-person vs. virtual (at home). If virtual, we will also share at-home learning expectations. There will be choices that do not require tech and that will, as much as possible, be able to be completed independently. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to the damage to our smoke detector system caused by this afternoon's downtown power outage, we will unfortunately need to postpone tonight's International Night. We are all disappointed, and will hope to be able to reschedule for sometime soon. Thank you for your understanding. Our number one commitment is to the safety of our students, staff, and guests.

We hope to see many families at our TPS Roller Skating & Pizza Party tomorrow – Sunday, October 20 (1-3p) at Western Skateland. And then we look forward to seeing all of our students and families back with us after fall break, beginning on Monday!
Please remember that there are no classes tomorrow (Friday, 10.4), as it is a conference day. And then we head into our 2-week fall break. We wish all of our students, families, and staff days that are filled with joyful exploration, rest, and safety. We will look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, October 21!
Due to the inclement weather, Food Truck Friday is unfortunatelybeing canceled for this evening. Kandi and her class will let us know when their snack stand has been rescheduled. We will be eager to support them!
TPS Families & Staff -- a county heat advisory has been called again for tomorrow (Wed, Aug 28). This means that all Wed recess will take place indoors, and cross country practice will be cancelled. As with winter delays and cancelations, we are following the determination made by MCCSC. We will let everyone know if additional advisories are called for Thursday and/or Friday. We hope that everyone is able to remain hydrated and safe through the end of this very hot week!
Cross county team practice will be canceled for Tuesday, August 27, due to the heat advisory. Coach Lindsay will keep runners in their families up-to-date on the status of practices later in the week. Stay safe!
Due to the heat advisory in Monroe County tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27, all recesses will take place indoors. Please take care to keep yourselves cool and hydrated during these very warm days!
We hope that the entire community can join us for our second annual Ice Cream Social with The Chocolate Moose on Monday, September 16! All purchases made between 3:45 and 8p will earn 20% for heart-mind-voice education. Enjoy a sweet treat with those you love!
Hello Wonderful TPS Families! We've had the most marvelous first day of the year (with a few minutes still to go!). Quick reminder: Mon-Thurs, no vehicles should begin lining up until 3:35p for either line. Friday, no lining up before 1:05p. These times have been determined with the City, so we block traffic as little as possible. Thanks for helping us remain great neighbors. Also, if you plan to pick up your child on foot, please have your orange pick-up card with you (if you were able to get it at the open house). Please make sure to use these every day once you have them, for vehicle or foot pick up!

Supply lists for the 2024-2025 are now available! Click below to access a Google Sheet with tabs for each grade grouping. Please make sure to check the tabs to confirm you are looking at the correct list!
As always, classroom supplies are used collectively, and no student is asked to purchase their own. If you are able to purchase all of the items on your child's list, or even some extras to support others, that would be greatly appreciated. However, families should not be concerned if they are unable to purchase all or any of the items on their lists. No student will be without supplies throughout the year.
